Community Partners
JDRF Community Partners include corporations, foundations, organizations and individuals, all of whom play a key role in research and outreach within JDRF’s mission to find a cure for type 1 diabetes and its complications through the support of research. In addition, these partnerships provide our partners, their employees, vendors, and consumers the opportunity to get involved and make a difference in the lives of those living with type 1 diabetes and their families.
We welcome the opportunity to develop new partnerships. Our cause marketing team evaluates partnership opportunities with companies that have a solid history and strong brand development. Additionally, your involvement creates positive community visibility, demonstrates a market presence, and is an occasion to network with clients and employees. Our goal at JDRF is to give people several ways to become involved – sponsorship, team building and volunteerism to name a few.
Type 1 diabetes accounts for $14.9 billion dollars a year in US health care costs. In the next twenty years, these costs are expected to double. It is likely that 1 out of every 3 employees is impacted by diabetes, either personally or through a relative. In order to reduce these figures we need to continue building and expanding partnerships with companies who have the resources to make a difference.
If you would like to explore a mutually beneficial partnership with JDRF, please contact the Northern California Inland Chapter at 916-920-0790 or northernca@jdrf.org.
